Book Becomes Art!

Altered Book by Sandy Young: “A Drawer of Letters – Ties that Bind”

Sandy Young’s altered book “A Drawer of Letters – Ties that Bind” (Item # 135) will be on exhibit at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art’s 12th Annual Altered Book Exhibition and Fundraiser.

The book becomes art in this exhibition April 24 – May 23, 2021! Marin’s most unique art show features over 130 original book art objects, created by artists who combine compelling messages with creative technique. Fans and art collectors will see an innovative display of Altered Books.

Sandy’s altered book is inspired by a chapter heading “A Drawer of Letters” in the book “The Locket” by Richard Paul Evans. Click on the images below for a larger view.
